I enjoy working with people from all walks of life. My approach is client focused and compassionate, with an emphasis on working with people’s strengths and values, towards their goals. I have 30 years clinical experience working in private practice since 2007 and before this in many different mental health sectors including hospital-based settings, in the community and in educational/academic settings. I have experience in working with teens, young adults and across the life span. More recently, I have a special interest in psycho-oncology and in supporting families which was motivated by my own lived experiences. My PhD topic was around understanding the experience and designing support to parents who had a child hospitalized with an early onset psychosis. I love animals and being in natural settings including my own permaculture garden.

Tracey Gardner

Tracey is currently working Saturdays and is taking on new clients in the Cancer Wellbeing Centre. She has over 20 years of experience in psycho-oncology providing psychological support to individuals, couples, and families impacted by cancer. Tracey also has extensive experience in working with adults who present with a range of psychological difficulties including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.

Dr Sue Jackson

Sue is an experienced Consultant Psychologist who has a strong and diverse background of training and is passionate about making a positive difference in her clients’ lives. Sue has a particular interest in Performance Psychology and working with individuals who are preparing for high-performance events, such as medical exams, sport competitions, or artistic performances. Performance psychology is also relevant for individuals who face ongoing challenges in their work or other high performance arenas. Sue understands the stress associated with high level performance, and enjoys guiding clients towards a more positive experience in their chosen endeavour.
PLEASE NOTE: Online consultations can be arranged when working with high performing individuals.

Dr Wei Wang
General Psychologist

Wei provides individual psychological consultation and support on a range of presenting issues. He has ample experience working with clients from various backgrounds including university students as well as various age groups. In therapy, Wei encourages and supports clients to develop and cultivate their inner strength so that they are able to increase their coping capacity with independence and confidence.
Wei can also provide therapy in English or Mandarin.

Mel is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist who works Wednesdays and is currently taking on new clients across the lifespan. Mel’s overarching philosophy is to provide movement as medicine as she loves to work with clients and their conditions to support them in moving regularly with confidence. She enjoys working with individuals with a range of conditions including mental health, musculoskeletal injuries and metabolic conditions.
Mel also has a particular interest in working with individuals who are Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing as an Auslan user.

Alongside her role in our Client Services Team, Matilda will be working as a Lived Experience Therapy Assistant. Working alongside our psychology and dietetics team, Matilda will strive to create a safe and understanding space for clients, providing additional support for those working towards recovery. She is in her third year of a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at UQ and hopes to continue into a Masters of Clinical Psychology. Matilda’s approach is warm and genuine, offering support grounded in real understanding of the challenges faced by those in recovery.

Mel is the heart of our Administration team, bringing warmth and energy to everything she does. With extensive experience in GP management and customer service, she keeps everyone organised and ensures clients feel genuinely cared for. Her vibrant personality and caring nature create the welcoming atmosphere that makes our clinic feel like home.

She has a special heart for young people and vulnerable groups, and her genuine compassion shines through in everything she does. With her wonderfully quirky personality and gift for connecting with others, she brings joy and authenticity to the team. When she's not at work, you'll find her hitting bullseyes at archery or leading her Joey Scouts on their next adventure.

Matilda is in her third year of a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at UQ and hopes to continue into a Masters of Clinical Psychology. Her gift for building a safe and welcoming space makes her a valued member of the team with a drive to create positive impact with every client interaction. When she's not in clinic or crunching numbers as our Data Coordinator, Matilda shares her musical talents, playing violin in the orchestra and treasures quality time with her friends and family.

Willowbie has an undergraduate degree in psychology and is studying her masters in social work at UQ in 2025. She hopes to work as a mental health clinician after graduating and is particularly interested in relationship counselling.

With a criminology minor, and a background in legal and psychological administration, Annika aspires to become a Clinical Psychologist and explore the interaction between same.
