Sandy is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of her clients, providing evidence-based compassionate care to reduce distress and promote wellbeing, growth and resilience. She is continually inspired by her client’s strengths, resilience, and capacity to persevere and feels privileged to help them connect with and cultivate these inner resources and capacities.

Sandy worked in the health system for 11 years at Greenslopes Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in medicine, women’s health and oncology, before establishing and managing the Cancer Council Queensland’s state-wide Cancer Counselling Service for 11 years. In addition to private practice, Sandy was also a senior clinical psychologist at Karuna, a home-based palliative care service for 6 years.
