Tara considers it a privilege to provide support to individuals navigating their own unique journey. Guided by a Person-Centered approach, Tara believes that the individual is the expert in their life and therefore can navigate their path and use available resources with the gentle guidance of the therapist. Within her approach, Tara adopts evidence-based frameworks including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy and trauma-informed practise. Tara provides a warm, authentic, and safe space for individuals to feel heard, to express themselves freely and develop the necessary skills they need to enhance their life.

Tara has worked with a range of clients, diversity and ages across not-for-profit organisations, private practice, and education settings. Tara has had experience working with a range of concerns including anxiety, mood disorders, life adjustments and transitions, self-esteem and resilience, neurodiversity, as well as completing cognitive and behavioural assessments. Tara is open to working with all individuals who feel may be a good fit.

When not at LP, Tara is busy with her family, enjoys photography, home workouts and camping.
