“I think it’s really important for you as parents to continue to have age-appropriate conversations with your children, let them know that they aren’t alone, that they do have access to support if they need it and help them to focus on the things they can do something about. As parents it’s okay for you to not have all the answers, in fact sitting with that uncertainty helps build resilience and when we know more we can then go back and talk to them some more.
