Sophie is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who works Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Friday and alternate Saturdays and is currently taking a small amount of new clients. Sophie is a warm and non-judgmental psychologist, with a background in counselling, who aims to create a collaborative and affirming space for people. She believes in the ability of all people to recover from the difficulties they may face.

Master of Clinical Psychology from Griffith University; Master of Counselling from University of Queensland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Sophie is especially interested in working with people who find the process of expressing emotions difficult, as she believes therapy can be for anyone. Sophie has practised within a number of settings including university psychology clinics, community mental health services, and schools. As a counsellor, she has worked within a national youth counselling organisation, and also a domestic violence crisis service. She primarily draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) when working with clients. Sophie enjoys science fiction, bushwalking and creative writing in her spare time.

Gordon works Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and is taking new clients from 12 years and above. Gordon is a Health Psychology Registrar and is fluent in English and Cantonese. He values the importance of building a strong rapport with his clients and incorporates a warm, empathetic approach to his therapy.

Clinical Psychologist

Laura works Wednesdays and alternate Mondays and is currently not taking new clients.
Laura adopts a holistic perspective with each client. She understands the importance and value of developing a strong therapeutic foundation that can help build resilience, bring about understanding and acceptance, and creates a safe space for clients to explore their psychological concerns.

General Psychologist

Leith is a Consultant & Workplace Psychologist who works Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and is currently taking new clients. Leith is passionate about supporting people to achieve optimal health and wellbeing. She combines a diverse background in counselling, wellbeing coaching, and workplace psychology and seeks to apply all these approaches to suit client need. Leith has a preference for a positive psychology approach.

General Psychologist

Heather works Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and is currently taking new clients.
Heather considers clients the experts in their own lives and is invested in walking alongside them while they cultivate their unique strengths and forge paths forward.
