Master of Clinical Psychology from Griffith University

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Sonia has practiced across a variety of settings including hospitals, community mental health services, and non-government organizations. This includes work with children, adolescents, and adults with a broad range of concerns. Sonia uses a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema Therapy. Sonia has also completed additional training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) which is an evidence-based therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder and other conditions like self-harm, suicidal behaviour, complex PTSD, and difficulties with relationships and emotion regulation. In her spare time, she enjoys travel and watching movies and is particularly passionate about food.

Clinical Psychologist

Laura works Wednesdays and alternate Mondays and is currently taking any Cancer Wellbeing Centre & chronic health-related clients.
Laura adopts a holistic perspective with each client. She understands the importance and value of developing a strong therapeutic foundation that can help build resilience, bring about understanding and acceptance, and creates a safe space for clients to explore their psychological concerns.

Provisional Psychologist

Edwina works Saturdays and administers assessments.
Edwina is a provisional psychologist who is currently completing the 4+2 pathway to registration. Edwina draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TfCBT).

Clinical Psychology Registrar

Brooke is currently not taking any new clients. She enjoys working with clients across the lifespan to achieve their goals and focuses on providing a warm, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic space.

Clinical Neuropsychologist

Kelly works Saturdays and administers assessments.
Kelly Bryden is a Clinical Neuropsychologist who specialises in the assessment of cognitive functioning. She also has experience providing therapy, as well as interventions to improve cognitive functioning.
