I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients to help promote a better quality of life. I understand it takes great strength to engage in therapy and value the importance of providing a non-judgmental and supportive environment to my clients.

Sonia is a warm and empathetic psychologist who is willing to meet you where you are at and work towards positive change. Sonia brings great enthusiasm and love for what she does, along with providing respectful and non-judgmental support to her clients. In her spare time she enjoys travel and watching movies and is particularly passionate about food.

Master of Clinical Psychology from Griffith University

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Sonia has practiced across a variety of settings including hospitals, community mental health services, and non-government organizations. This includes work with children, adolescents, and adults with a broad range of concerns. Sonia uses a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema Therapy. Sonia has also completed additional training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) which is an evidence-based therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder and other conditions like self-harm, suicidal behaviour, complex PTSD, and difficulties with relationships and emotion regulation.

Kimberley Cunial is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist as well as a Clinical Psychology Registrar and Board Approved Supervisor, who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, families, couples and adults, with a variety of presentations across the lifespan.
