Sarah has clinical experience with a range of anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma-stressor related disorders. Additionally, she was part of a research project testing motivational treatments for Alcohol Use Disorder. Sarah works with children, teenagers, and adults, and recognises the importance of working through the issues that often trigger or accompany mental health concerns, including life transitions, stress, social difficulties, and relationship problems. Having a corporate background, Sarah is particularly passionate about assisting with career choice and addressing bullying in the workplace.
Sarah tailors therapy to the client’s individual needs and uses different evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Schema Therapy.
When Sarah is not at Lilley Place she enjoys walks along the river, yoga, travelling, and is a regular attender of events at QPAC.
