ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Kelly has experience working across a range of settings, including private practice and educational contexts, supporting children, adolescents and families with both emotional and learning-related challenges. This experience informs her ability to consider each client within their broader developmental and relational context.
Kelly places strong value on a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where feeling understood is central to the work. She works alongside clients to make sense of their experiences and how these have shaped the way they see themselves and the world. From this shared understanding, therapy becomes a space to bring things together, supporting greater coherence, integration and meaningful change.
Her work is informed by attachment-based and psychodynamic perspectives, and she integrates evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailored to the individual.
In her work with couples, Kelly draws on Gottman Method principles to support communication, deepen understanding, and strengthen connection. In her work with parents and families, she incorporates Circle of Security and Triple P frameworks to support confident, attuned parenting, and strengthen parent-child relationships.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys lessons in humility on the pottery wheel, recharging at the beach when she can, and sharing time with family and friends.
