ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Eloise completed a Master of Psychology (Health) from the University of Queensland. She has also undertaken research in chronic pain management; as well as research on the therapeutic benefits of gardening. Eloise completed her masters thesis in endometriosis-related pelvic-pain and is passionate about improving access to psychological support for people living with chronic health conditions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Eloise uses an integrative person-centred approach, drawing on evidence-based strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). She has previous experience working in hospital and community settings, including group chronic pain management programs and outpatient rehabilitation for people living with cancer, chronic and post-viral fatigue, and chronic health conditions. She has a particular interest in supporting her clients to reconnect with their values, foster a more compassionate and accepting relationship with themselves, and work towards meaningful change. Eloise has worked across the lifespan from adolescents through to older adulthood with a variety of both mental health and physical health conditions.

She is dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming space for individuals of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities and identities.
