Elizabeth is a general psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from the University of Queensland (BPsychSc)(Hons) and is in her final year of the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University (Dpscyh)(Clin). Elizabeth has full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is recognized by Medicare as a provider of psychological services. Elizabeth is a member of the Association for Contextual Behavioural Science and an accredited provider of the Triple P Positive Parenting Program.
Elizabeth has experience working within community, hospital and university clinic settings which have afforded her the opportunity to work with a broad range of psychological concerns including: depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, stress, substance abuse, self harm, weight loss, behavioural difficulties and psychological issues associated with cancer. She enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults and utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Her research interests include the utility of parenting programs for behavioural difficulties and adjustment issues surrounding caregiver of individuals with Brain Tumour. In her spare time Elizabeth enjoys watching movies, reading and catching up with friends.
